OhJen,you werent here long enough and I know I could do a better job for you. i really need a do-over! I've been writing all day,a very unruly piece of memoir, and essay. I keep running into people who love your book.It delights me to hear their enthusiasm.
I love Whitby. The day after we finished the Coast to Coast, we walked from RHB to Whitby. So beautiful!
Hello - Not sure I know what you mean by a 'better job'....you have done me proud! so pleased people are enjoying the book. A big relief and a big pleasure. Glad you are writing - it's what you do! And I am so pleased you know what I am talking about when i talk about Whitby. It was a wonderful day - just seeing Edie being part of music making, it really is one of the best feelings!
Fun adventures awaiting for your return! I hand water my plants too, as I talk to each one of them and check on their condition. I agree, the plants are aware of our attention. The countryside walk, the town and the open air concert felt as if I were on vacation, experiencing it first hand.
It’s interesting that, about watering the plants right? It’s a very different thing to just hosing water onto them. Mind you, I think we’re up for a hose pipe ban soon so best that I do it this way…glad you joined me for a virtual vacation!
I know - I came off FB a while ago and was so smug about it (and felt very relieved). But I am really enjoying being part of this group, even though it is yet another time suck - in a good way though.
Ah - nice to hear (if not entirely true!....I seem to still be mired in marketing, or attempts to market). However, I ahve started the next one so taking your advice there.
I saw the play live many years ago. I read the book a few months ago (and loved the disguised shout-out!). I love learning about the "birth" and development!

The book is wonderful - it sells itself.

Well, a bit more birthing to come! (and still relieved none of you were dismayed by the disguised 'shout-outs'!)
Yes, more please! This was great.
It shall be yours.
